Where are we?

You ever ask yourself this question? I do. Not the physical sense of where we are but in the where in “life” are we. The answer changes every now and then but something remains the same. I have arrived here, after decades of work and I’m tired but relieved. Each day that goes by I become more relaxed, confident in my direction, yet somewhat confused. Am I getting too old? Do I mean something to the world or my community. Am I accomplishing things I want to do? I think I am.

How will I know I have arrived? I imagine someone will tell me or something will happen that causes a light to go off. Will it be spiritual? Probably not. I have a very important spiritual part of my that believes this thing we call life is not guaranteed, easy to screw up and possibly short. I don’t waste any time. I’m in a hurry to finish whatever I started. The answer is here.

I don’t have a whole lot of time left. I am old. I am close to the finish line. I want to do the right thing.
